Artist Statement
The focal point of my work is to capture the uniqueness of shapes, colors, and moods of the landscape I encounter at the Eastern Shore, as well as, my travels throughout the country. Painting provides me the opportunity to manipulate these artistic elements and create artwork portraying the interpretations of my experiences. I draw inspiration from artists such as Marc Hanson, Colin Page, Edward Hopper, and William Trost Richards.
