September 2010 Exhibit Pursuing A Passion Although Karin Snoots has contributed to our annual Small Jewels show in December for the last two years, this will be her first one woman exhibit in the gallery and a chance for us all to see her exquisite work on a larger scale. Karin’s fundamental mission is to serve as a catalyst for environmental awareness. She is inspired by the drama of nature and is constantly challenged to capture the dramatic sense of scale in space and light. She is a strong supporter of the Marine Education, Research and Rehabilitation Institute (MERR), a non-profit agency in Delaware responsible for handling all of the marine strandings along our coast. To this end she is donating 25% of her proceeds from the sale of the featured work “Moments of Zen” to this worthy cause.
