“Along the Coast” 
Plein Aire paintings by Joseph Sweeney  

We are particularly pleased to welcome Joe Sweeney to our exhibition room in June.  
His family has lived along the coast of one country or another since the 1300's, so it seems
that painting the coastline, any coastline, come naturally to him.  The foundation of most of his work
is small "Plein Aire" paintings, some of which will find their way onto larger canvases.  In this series 
he has produced an extraordinary collection of smaller works.
