Patricia Laspino is recognized as America's
foremost painter of Orchids. With an MFA in Painting, Drawing and
Sculpture
and a minor in Biology, she honed her present skills doing post graduate work
with the Guild of Natural Science Illustrators
at the Smithsonian Institute in Washington, D. C. Her current work forges
a synergistic relationship between art, popular
culture, and scientific illustration.
